Zoom 에서 음소거 이후 계속 음소거 효과음 붕~ 또는 웅~ 소리가 날 때

얼마 전부터 Zoom을 사용하는 빈도가 조금씩 늘어나고 있는데 이상하게 내 기기에서는 음소거 하고 있으면 음소거 활성화 소리가 반복적으로 난다. 컨퍼런스콜이 길어지면 멀미 또는 토할 것 같은 느낌이 들 정도인데 오늘 또 예정된 일정이 있어서 불안한 마음에 이것저것 설정을 건드려보았다.

 

일단 회사 직원들 중에는 이런 경험을 가진 사람이 나 밖에 없다는 것을 확인하고 내가 사용 중인 헤드폰의 특징에 집중하기로 했다. 내가 사용 중인 Jabra Engage 50은 콜센터 직원들을 위해 만들어진 제품으로 Softphone 기능을 지원한다. 그럼 여기에 무언가 다른게 있지 않을까 하고 옵션을 살펴보던 중 설정 > 오디오 탭에서 헤드셋 버튼 상태 동기화라는게 보였다. 

 

구글밋이나 다른 제품을 사용할 때는 변한 적 없던 헤드셋의 LED 색상이 줌에서만 빨간불로 변하는 걸 봤던 기억을 떠올리며 이 버튼을 해제해 보았다. 줌에서만 유별나게 들리던 잡음이 사라지고 조용해지는 것을 보니 뭔가 정상적인 옵션이 켜진 것 같다. 다시 회의를 만들고 기다려보니 아무 소리도 나지 않고 조용해졌다.

 

Jabra는 국내유저보다 해외 유저들이 더 많을테니까.. 파파고 번역기에 맡겨서 영문으로도 올려야지..!

Since a while ago, the frequency of using Zoom has been increasing little by little, and strangely enough. when I mute, the sound of mute activation is repeated. If the conference call gets longer, I feel like I'm getting motion sickness or vomiting. I touched the settings because I was nervous because I had another schedule scheduled for today.

First of all, I confirmed that I was the only one in the company who had this experience and decided to focus on the characteristics of the headphones I was using. The Jabra Engage 50 I am using is a product made for call center. So it supports the Softphone function. Then I was looking at the Zoom preference, thinking there might be something else here, and I saw that it was Sync buttons on headset check box on the Settings > Audio tab. 

I tried to unable this option, reminded that I saw the LED color of the headset, which had never changed when I used Google Meet or other products, only changed from zoom to red light. Seeing the noise that used to sound unusual only on Zoom disappeared and now become quiet, something normal seems to be turned on. When I made a meeting again and waited, there was no sound and it became quiet.
